Pharmacy Technician
We start to spend some time in the psuedo pharmacy, to give us a nice visual of how an actual pharmacy looks, and how drugs are classified and organized.
We had to learn how to don and use sterile protective equipment and or personal protective equipment. (PPE).

In the Pharmacy Technician Program, You’ll get pretty close. And I can personally say that the friendships are wonderful, and gives you excellent people skills that you’ll need in the workplace.
On 10-09-17 I became certified in CPR, and this allows me to know how to do CPR o adults and infants. |
As Pharmacy Technicians, we must also know the different layers of skin that shots and other dermal medications can be administered. Below is a picture of some needles ranging from different sizes and different uses being used on an object that is almost skin-like.

Above are pictures from a lab I did that involved taking prescriptions for patients and inputting the given information into the McKesson software, generating labels that go around the medicine bottles, and actually filling the prescription, bagging and all.
This is the McKesson software that we used to input patient information from prescribers, then create prescriptions from the given information.
In Pharmacy, we took a allagation math test and I scored 100% A on it. It wasn’t easy because I couldn’t quite grasp the concept of where to put the number for my grid.
